While browsing foodblogs, I realised that making bread can actually be easy ! So I bought dehydrated yeast, that you can easily buy in supermarket (though I’m in France, I hope you find them too). And I decided to make chicken stuffed buns, because it sounded delicious 🙂
What’s really cool about that recipe is that you can make it with any stuffing you want. If your a vegeterian, you can use mushrooms instead of chicken for example.
For the bread :
Mix together the flour, water, yeast, oilve oil, salt and sugar. Knead until it forms a dough and let it rise in a warm place for an hour or so : it must double the volume.
During that time, prepare the stuffing !
For the suffing :

Don’t add salt until you tasted it, the stock cube is pretty salty.

Cook the chicken with half the onion and a little bit of olive oil. Then, mix together all the ingredients in a blender. Taste and adjust seasoning.
FINAL STEP :
Take the dough and divide it in 4 pieces. Flat them down and put some a the stuffing in each one. Close them up and flip them so that they don’t re-open. Let them rise again 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Spread a few drops of water and some sesame seeds on top of each, and cook them in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
Et voilà ! You can eat your chicken stuffed buns with vegetables or french fries… They are perfect for a TV diner 🙂
